Organizers of the Garden City and Floral Park Belmont Festivals have cancelled Friday’s planned events due to heavy rain and forecast of continued rain throughout the evening.
At this time, no make-up date for either festival has been announced.

The third leg of the Triple Crown offers Long Island’s local communities an opportunity to celebrate!
This year’s week long celebration begins with the Elmont Belmont Stakes parade on Saturday, May 30th. A number of local charities will benefit through the following events which are open to the public:
• Monday, June 1 – Morton's The Steakhouse Cocktail Reception to Benefit the Backstretch Charities
• Tuesday, June 2 – TD Bank Belmont Stakes Breakfast Reception
• Wednesday, June 3 – Hat and Author Luncheon to Benefit the Kidney and Urology Foundation of America
• Thursday, June 4 – The Belmont Bash to benefit Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and The New York Division Racetrack Chaplaincy of America
• Friday, June 5 – Dinner Dance to benefit The American Cancer Society
